Job title: Business Analyst- Permanent position

 

Job purpose: Carry out the analysis of business requirements to support the programme of transformational projects, scheduled development work and development projects, thereby ensuring that processes, systems and software continue to meet and support business requirements.

 

· Organise information gathered from disparate sources during the project life cycle and deal effectively with changing requirements.

· Communicate information effectively to users, stakeholders and technical members of staff.

· Negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders. Conform to the established project management framework.

· Carry out business process mapping of existing processes.

· Make use of appropriate analysis tools, such as Case Tools, business process modelling tools (Case Wise/Aris IDS Scheer/Oracle BPA).

· Take technical staff through the project requirements in order to impart a full understanding of the work necessary to meet the project goals.

· Assist with communication between technical staff and project stakeholders where negotiation or conflict of priorities/requirements arises.

TECHNICAL ANALYST

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Analyse and refine business and functional requirements
• Meet the customer to determine requirements for data, reports, analyse metadata, data quality and performance
• Document requirements
• Work with team to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Define testing objectives and verify requirements are testable
• Help identify and assess potential data sources
• recommend appropriate scope of requirements and priorities
• Provide development and maintenance services for .NET applications
• Review codes and provide recommendations for improvements

• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle including coding, designing and documentation

Currently we require a dynamic professional Salesperson to meet our sales objectives with our own Infomatrix OneView Platform.  Ideally, you will be familiar dealing with large enterprises and global FTSE 500 firms.

 

Sound Business Intelligence and Dashboard sales experience along with full sales developement cycle knowledge.

 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

Applicants that have a Degree-level education and posses sound knowledge of the following industry leading BI vendors (Business Objects, Oracle OBI EE or Hyperion, Cognos, Microsoft, Qlick Teck, Micro Strategy, SAS) would be an advantage.  A background in software systems sales to cross business industry will be given strong consideration.
